Biography

Dr. Neha Makrand Rahatekar is a highly skilled Radiologist with over five years of post-MD experience in tertiary care hospitals and renowned diagnostic centers in Mumbai. She is proficient in diagnostic imaging across multiple modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-rays, and interventional procedures. Dr. Neha is recognized for her accuracy in interpretation, reporting, and patient management, with a strong focus on patient-centered care in high-volume hospital environments.

She has served as a Consultant Radiologist at Vital Scans and Diagnostics, Dubai, handling advanced imaging procedures such as neurosonography, abdomino-pelvic ultrasound, Doppler studies, diagnostic mammography, CT and MRI reporting, and ultrasound-guided interventions including FNACs and fluid tapping. Earlier, she held academic and clinical positions at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College & General Hospital, Mumbai, where she gained extensive experience in CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography, and interventional radiology, including liver biopsies and vascular procedures.

Dr. Neha has been actively involved in research, including her dissertation on fetal biometry and obstetric Doppler as predictors of IUGR, and has presented cases in national forums. She combines her clinical expertise with patient counseling, safety, and radiation protocols to deliver optimal diagnostic care.
