Biography

A DNB-qualified Specialist General Surgeon with 15 years of clinical experience in India, including extensive work at Apollo Speciality Hospitals and ABC Hospital in Tiruchirappalli, as well as Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He completed his undergraduate medical education (MBBS) at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, under Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and his postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (DNB) through the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, with training at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.

His clinical practice encompasses elective and emergency general surgery, advanced laparoscopic and minimal access surgery, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and colorectal surgery, with extensive experience in managing a broad range of complex surgical conditions across tertiary-care settings.

His areas of expertise include advanced laparoscopic and minimal access surgery, bariatric and metabolic surgery, emergency general surgery, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and colorectal surgery, complex hernia and abdominal wall surgery, breast surgery, thyroid surgery, and anorectal surgery. Dedicated fellowship training in Minimal Access Surgery and Advanced Laparoscopy & Bariatric Surgery has provided him with focused exposure to complex laparoscopic and bariatric procedures.
