Biography

Dr. Amir Ali Husain is a Specialist in Anesthesia with more than 30 years of clinical experience in anesthesiology and perioperative patient care. His extensive career spans India and the UAE, with experience in providing anesthesia services across hospitals, specialty healthcare facilities, and ambulatory surgical settings.

He has broad experience in administering anesthesia for pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures, including general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, urology, ENT, endoscopic procedures, oculoplastic and plastic surgery, spine surgery, dental procedures, and ophthalmic surgery. His clinical practice includes preoperative assessment and preparation, intraoperative anesthesia management, postoperative care, and acute pain management.

Dr. Amir is proficient in various anesthesia techniques, including general anesthesia, spinal and epidural anesthesia, labor analgesia, regional anesthesia, sedation, and perioperative pain management. His experience also includes anesthesia support for laparoscopic general surgical procedures, lumbar and cervical discectomies, endoscopic procedures, and pain management interventions.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in emergency patient care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), postoperative pain control, and supervision of post-anesthesia care. Alongside his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Amir has contributed to medical education by training medical students and nurses and participating in clinical seminars, symposiums, journal clubs, conferences, and continuing medical education activities.
