Dr. Abdulrahman Saadeddin is an enthusiastic physician and gastroenterologist specializing in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy and pancreatico-biliary diseases. As the lead physician for Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) services, he has performed a wide range of therapeutic ERCP procedures, establishing himself as a key figure in this essential area of gastroenterology. Dr. Saadeddin received formal training in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) under the esteemed Anand Sahai at St. Luke University in Montreal, Canada. After completing his training, he successfully established the EUS service at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC) and took an active role in training two colleagues to further enhance the service’s capabilities. Currently, he offers interventional EUS and fine-needle aspiration/biopsy (FNA/FNB) services at Valiant Hospital and its associated clinics.
With extensive experience in managing complex Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) cases and employing biologic therapies, Dr. Saadeddin is well-equipped to provide comprehensive care to his patients. His medical training includes a year at the Queen Elizabeth Transplant Liver Unit in Birmingham, UK, where he gained invaluable experience in handling acute and chronic liver diseases.
