Internal Medicine department is a specialty that provides expertise in the diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical disorders, including diabetes, endocrine, gastrointestinal, respiratory, rheumatological, neurological disorders as well as infectious disease. Endoscopic procedures both diagnostic and therapeutic are also available. Internists at IMH assess severe ill patients before an operation as well as at times of acute health deterioration.
